Programming
For over 20 years, Margam and its predecessor institutions have trained dancers, built productions, and brought performance art into spaces well beyond the studio — from university stages and cultural festivals to schools, community organizations, and corporate settings. The work spans performance, education, and outreach.
Productions
Margam creates original, concept-driven work that brings together artists across traditions, styles, and geographies. Productions are built around a central idea — weaving choreography, music, and storytelling into a cohesive experience. Past work includes Kshetram, a collaboration uniting Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Mohiniyattam dancers around five sacred sites.
Beyond the Studio
Our programming extends into universities, schools, cultural institutions, and community spaces. This includes curriculum collaborations, youth programs, summer intensives, and movement workshops for non-dance audiences. We've worked with organizations including COCA, Webster University, and Bal Vihar STL.
Performances
