Inspired by vintage doors found in India, this white interior door will feature panels inspired by mythological stories and nature

The base is an acrylic painting, overlaid with threadwork (clothing and hair) and beadwork inspired broadly by Tanjore paintings

Individual tiles were painted based on various folk art styles in India, including Kolam, Chittara, Warli, Gond Paintings, and Goan art.

This was designed to fit around a glass mirror in a powder room. 

This was a fun project that came from a challenge to utilize all the remaining paint from another art piece!

This entire piece was created with individual threads and a few beads to accentuate the design.
